About the Evening Safari + BBQ
This is the classic way to see the desert at its best light. The drive goes over the dunes in the late afternoon, so the sand turns red and gold while you are out on it, and the evening closes with a BBQ dinner of local and international dishes under the open sky. There is no riding to learn and no machine to control: you sit back while the driver handles the dunes.
Because it is a sharing safari, you join other guests on the day, which keeps the price per head low. Book it on our online safari form and pay by card; the form asks for your pickup location and hotel room number, and the confirmation with your order details arrives by email. Want the dunes to yourselves? The private evening safari gives your group its own car for up to six people.
If somebody in the group would rather drive than be driven, the same evening is sold with a 30 minute quad ride added on the evening safari with ATV page. Every ride and safari we sell is listed side by side on our prices page.

01 What does the evening safari with BBQ dinner cost?
An adult aged 12 or over pays AED 240 and a child aged 5 to 11 pays AED 225. Both prices are per person, because this is a shared safari. You pay online by card when you book, and the email confirmation lists the order details.
02 What happens on the evening safari?
The drive heads over the dunes in the late afternoon, so you see the sand in the sunset light, with dune bashing on the way. The evening ends with a BBQ dinner of local and international dishes once it is dark. You are a passenger the whole time.
03 Do you pick us up for the evening safari?
The safari booking form asks for your pickup location and your hotel room number, and our team uses those details for your booking. If anything about your pickup point is unclear, message us on WhatsApp on +971 52 440 9525 before the day.
04 Can we add a quad bike ride to the evening safari?
Yes. The same evening is sold with a 30 minute ATV quad bike ride added, priced at AED 375 an adult and AED 340 a child. Book that version instead of this one, so the quad ride is part of the same order.
