Eight quads · two riding zones

Quad Biking Dubai: Fenced Area Quads and Open Deep Desert Rides

Quad biking Dubai with us starts with one choice: a quad that stays inside the fenced area, or one that heads into Al Badayer's open deep desert. Eight quads split across those two zones, from a 90 CC kids quad to a manual 700 CC Raptor, all priced per quad. Here is how the zones differ, which quad suits which rider, and how the prices stack up.

01two zones

Two zones for quad biking Dubai: fenced or open

Every quad on our form belongs to one zone and stays there. Three of them ride in the fenced area, a marked space where younger and newer riders can find their feet. The other five head out into open dunes with no rope around them, which the form calls the open deep desert.

So before comparing engines, think about the rider. A child, a nervous first-timer or a teenager belongs on a fenced quad. An adult who wants to cross real dunes belongs on an open-desert machine. Get that right and the rest of your booking falls into place.

02fenced

Fenced area quads for kids, teens and first rides

The smallest machine is the Kids Quad Bike Single Seater, a 90 CC quad recommended for riders aged 9 to 12. It never leaves the fenced area. Rates: AED 150 (30 min), 250 (1 hour), 400 (2 hours).

Next comes the COBRA Single Seater Quad Bike ( Fenced Area ), a 220 CC quad with an age recommendation of 14 to 17. It is also kept inside the fence. Half an hour costs AED 200, while one hour and two hours cost AED 250 and AED 400, the very same as the kids quad for those two lengths.

The third fenced quad has no age note on the form: the SHARMAX Quad Bike Single Seater (Fenced Area), priced AED 350 (30 min), 425 (1 hour), 800 (2 hours). It suits an adult who would rather learn inside a boundary before trying the open dunes. For more on the smallest quad, see the kids quad page.

03open desert

Open deep desert quad bike rental in Dubai

Five quads go out past the fence. Here they are from the lowest price to the highest:

  • Kymco Single Seater Quad Bike ( Open Deep Desert ): AED 250 (30 min), 350 (1 hour), 600 (2 hours)
  • Double Seater Quad Bike ( Open Deep Desert ): AED 350 (30 min), 425 (1 hour), 820 (2 hours), carrying two
  • Yamaha Quad Bike (Open Deep Desert Area): AED 450 (30 min), 550 (1 hour), 950 (2 hours)
  • Single Seater Sports Quad Bike (open deep desert): AED 700 (1 hour), 1,250 (2 hours)
  • Quad Bike Raptor Manual 700 CC ( Open Deep Desert ): AED 795 (1 hour), 1,550 (2 hours)

04kymco yamaha

Kymco or Yamaha: entry quads for the open dunes

The Kymco is the gentlest way into the open desert on price. At AED 350 for an hour, it is a solo ride across real dunes for less than the SHARMAX costs inside the fence. It suits an adult who has never ridden a quad but wants to leave the fence behind.

The Yamaha sits one step higher, at AED 550 for the hour. Both are offered as 30 Min Rides too, so a hesitant rider can try a short loop first. Ask yourself how long you really want on the sand: on both machines, the two-hour slot works out cheaper than two separate hours.

05double seater

The double seater quad: two riders, one price

Only one quad carries two people: the Double Seater Quad Bike ( Open Deep Desert ). Like every rate here, its price is per quad, so an hour at AED 425 works out at AED 212.50 each when two of you ride. Book two separate Kymcos for that hour instead and you pay AED 700 between you.

It is a good fit for a couple where one person prefers to sit behind, or for two friends heading out together. Remember that only one of you is steering. If both want their own handlebars, book two single seaters instead.

06sports raptor

Sports quad and Raptor 700 manual for confident riders

Two quads skip the 30-minute option and start at one hour. The Single Seater Sports Quad Bike (open deep desert) costs AED 700 for the hour and AED 1,250 for two. The Quad Bike Raptor Manual 700 CC ( Open Deep Desert ) costs AED 795 and AED 1,550.

The Raptor's name carries the key detail: it is a manual, so you change gears yourself. If you are used to clutch-and-gear machines, that is part of the appeal. If manual gears are new to you, message us before booking; the sports quad and the Yamaha are the other open-desert options at this end of the list. The Raptor 700 page covers it in more depth.

Riders after something sharper than any quad may also look at two wheels. The KTM Dirt Bike 450 CC suits adults of 18 and over with real off-road miles behind them; see the KTM rental page for its rules and prices.

07families

Planning quad biking Dubai trips with children

Families often mix zones. A 10-year-old can ride the Kids Quad Bike Single Seater in the fenced area while a parent books an open-desert quad, all on one order. For a teenager between 14 and 17, the COBRA is the quad the form recommends.

The form does not publish age rules for the open-desert quads, so when you plan quad biking Dubai days for a family and a younger rider hopes to go beyond the fence, message us on WhatsApp with their age before you pay and we will say what is possible. For groups who want to sit together instead, a 4 seater buggy is the other route: see dune buggy rental.

08safari quads

Quad bike rides inside a desert safari

Not every quad ride needs its own booking. Two desert safaris on our safari form include 30 minutes on an ATV quad bike. Classic Evening Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner + 30 Min ATV Quad Bike: adults AED 375, children AED 340. Morning Desert Safari With Land Cruiser 4X4 + 30 Min ATV Quad Bike: adults AED 290, children AED 285.

Compared with the same safaris without the quad, the morning option adds AED 65 for an adult, and the evening option adds AED 135. If your main goal is a safari and the quad is a side treat, that can be the simpler route.

09kit and briefing

Safety briefing and kit for every quad ride

Before any quad moves, a full safety briefing covers the controls, sensible riding on loose sand and the drill if a rider gets into trouble. Each rider is given a helmet, gloves and body armour before setting off. Wear clothes you can move in and closed sports shoes, and add a jacket for cool winter mornings. The safety and gear page has the details.

10getting there

Getting to Al Badayer for your quad session

Allow 45–60 minutes on the road between Downtown Dubai and the Al Badayer quad area. Drive out yourself and the meeting point is emailed once you order. For a group, one Private Transfer vehicle (up to 5–6 people) costs AED 450; Sharing Transfer seats are AED 175 each when at least two travellers start from one pickup spot. The location page describes the area.

You can add a little more desert time on the same form, each extra charged per person: a Camel Ride in Desert 20 – 25 min for AED 150, or SandBoarding for AED 50. A side-by-side look at every price sits on our prices page.

FAQ

Questions riders ask

01 What is the cheapest quad ride?

The Kids Quad Bike Single Seater for 30 minutes, at AED 150 per quad. It is a 90 CC quad for the fenced area, recommended for ages 9 to 12. For adults heading into the open deep desert, the lowest price belongs to the Kymco Single Seater Quad Bike ( Open Deep Desert ): half an hour for AED 250, an hour for AED 350, or two hours for AED 600.

02 Can my 12-year-old ride in the open desert?

The age guidance we publish covers the fenced-area quads only: 9 to 12 year olds on the Kids Quad Bike Single Seater, 14 to 17 year olds on the COBRA. No age rule for the open-desert quads is listed here, so message us on WhatsApp with your child's age before you book. We will tell you which quad, and which zone, fits them.

03 Is the double seater quad priced per person?

No, it is priced per quad, like every quad on the form. The Double Seater Quad Bike ( Open Deep Desert ) is AED 350 for half an hour, AED 425 for the hour and AED 820 for two hours, and that one price covers both riders. An hour shared by two comes to AED 212.50 each. Only one person steers, so pick two single seaters if both want to ride.

04 What does manual mean on the Raptor 700?

It means you change gears yourself rather than relying on an automatic gearbox. The Quad Bike Raptor Manual 700 CC ( Open Deep Desert ) is booked for one hour at AED 795 or two hours at AED 1,550, with no 30-minute option. It suits riders who already know how to handle a geared machine. If you are unsure about manual gears, message us and we will help you choose.

05 Is it better to book one long quad ride or two short ones?

One long ride. Across all eight quads, a single two-hour booking beats paying for the hour twice. The Yamaha Quad Bike (Open Deep Desert Area), for instance, is AED 950 for two hours against AED 1,100 for two separate hours. On the Kymco the difference is AED 100. If you already know you want plenty of time, book the longer slot from the start.

06 Quad or dune buggy for a first desert ride?

Both work for beginners, so it comes down to how you want to ride. A quad is a solo machine, apart from the double seater, and the fenced area gives an easy first step. A buggy seats two or four people in one vehicle at a per-buggy price. Our comparison guide lays the three options side by side.
