Half an hour in the 2 Seater Polaris Dune Buggy RZR 1000 CC is AED 600; the 1 Hour Ride is AED 900 and the 2 Hour Ride AED 1,750. One person drives, one sits beside them, and the price covers the whole buggy. It suits two people who want a first taste of the Al Badayer dunes without paying for empty seats.
01Overview
Think of this buggy as the plain, honest starting point of our range. It is the standard Polaris, not the turbo, with two seats and three ride lengths, and it runs on the same red sand of Al Badayer as every other machine we book. Couples, two friends travelling together and anyone steering a buggy on sand for the first time will find it an easy choice, because there is very little to decide beyond how long you want to stay out.
The money works like this. You pay per buggy, so with both seats filled the 30 Min Ride comes to AED 300 each, the 1 Hour Ride to AED 450 each and the 2 Hour Ride to AED 875 each. Two hours cost AED 1,750, which is AED 50 less than two separate hours at AED 900. One comparison is worth keeping in mind: AED 900 buys either a full hour in this buggy or half an hour in the turbo version. Time or turbo, that is the real choice at this price.
If the group grows, the 4 seater RZR costs AED 200 extra for half an hour and AED 300 extra for the hour, and it carries twice the people. If you would rather stay two but change maker, the Can-Am Maverick X3 two-seater opens at AED 999. Per person, the 4 Seater Polaris Dune Buggy RZR 1000 CC can work out lower, at AED 200 each when four people share its AED 800 half hour, but only if you really have four people to fill it.
No. The AED 900 covers the buggy, and the buggy has two seats. Two people sharing a 1 Hour Ride pay AED 450 each, and the same logic holds for the other lengths: AED 300 each for 30 minutes and AED 875 each for two hours. Nothing changes in the price if one of you would rather ride as the passenger the whole way.
You can make your own way, in which case the meeting point arrives by email after you book. Or add a transfer: two sharing seats at AED 175 each come to AED 350, while a private car is AED 450 and holds 5–6 people. For a pair, sharing is the cheaper route, as long as you both start from the same pickup location. The drive is 45–60 minutes from Downtown Dubai.

Helmets and the other protective kit are provided, so you only need comfortable clothes and sports shoes.
