The Raptor's name tells you it is a manual; the sports quad's listing makes no such note, so if the gearbox matters, check with our team by message.
On price, the sports quad bike Dubai option sits between the Yamaha and the Raptor. An hour costs AED 150 more than the Yamaha and AED 95 less than the Raptor 700. Two hours at AED 1,250 come to AED 625 an hour, saving AED 150 against two separate hours. Over two hours the Raptor costs AED 300 more, so the gap widens the longer you ride.
Mixed groups can pair it with a lower-priced machine: one friend takes the sports quad, another takes a Kymco, and both ride the open dunes in the same slot. Count on 45–60 minutes on the road from Downtown Dubai to the Al Badayer dunes. It also suits riders who have tried a short quad session before and now want a full hour. The booking form only offers the sports quad as a 1 Hour Ride (AED 700) or a 2 Hour Ride (AED 1,250) and does not give a reason. If you want a shorter open desert session, the Kymco, double seater and Yamaha quads all have a 30 Min Ride, starting at AED 250 on the Kymco.
Each is a one-rider quad sold by the hour for the open dunes. The sports quad is AED 700 or AED 1,250. The Raptor 700 is a manual with a 700 CC engine at AED 795 or AED 1,550. If you are happy changing gear yourself and want the bigger named engine, take the Raptor. Otherwise the sports quad costs less.
The form sets no experience rule for it, but a first ride on any quad is often better spent on a machine you can book for 30 minutes. The Kymco or Yamaha let you try the open desert first. If you are set on the sports quad for your first ride, tell us by message and we will talk it through.
Every rider sits through a detailed safety briefing first: controls, off-road riding on sand, and emergency steps. Helmets, gloves and body armour are provided. Bring comfortable sports clothes, sport shoes and, in the cooler winter months, a jacket. Transfers and extras are added separately on the form.
