Yamaha Quad Bike Dubai: a Step Up in the Open Dunes

The Yamaha quad bike Dubai riders book with us is a one-rider quad that heads into the Al Badayer open deep desert, one rung above the Kymco on our rate card. It costs AED 450 per half hour, AED 550 per hour and AED 950 for two hours, per quad. It is also the most expensive open desert quad that still comes with a 30 minute option, which makes it easy to try before committing to longer.

01Overview

About the Yamaha quad

Think of the open desert quads as a ladder. The Kymco sits at the bottom, the sports quad and the Raptor 700 manual sit at the top, and the Yamaha Quad Bike (Open Deep Desert Area) is the middle step. It keeps all three ride lengths, unlike the two top machines, which are only sold by the hour. That flexibility is the main reason the Yamaha quad bike Dubai booking suits riders who want more than the Kymco but are not sure they need a full hour.

Against the Kymco, the Yamaha costs AED 200 more for half an hour, AED 200 more for an hour and AED 350 more for two hours. Against the sports quad, it is AED 150 less for an hour. Booking two hours at once is the smart move if you know you will want the time: AED 950 is AED 150 less than paying for two separate hours at AED 550 each.

The ride itself follows the same pattern as every quad we run. A briefing on the controls and emergency steps comes first, then you set off into the open dunes in a helmet, gloves and body armour from our kit. Add a Camel Ride in Desert 20 – 25 min at AED 150 per person if you want a slower half hour afterwards. Book online, choose the slot that suits you and pay by card.

FAQ

Yamaha quad: questions

01 Should I choose the Yamaha or the Kymco?

Each is a one-seat quad for the open deep desert, and each can be booked for half an hour, an hour or two. The Kymco is the budget option, priced from AED 250 to AED 600 depending on length. The Yamaha runs AED 450, AED 550 or AED 950. Pick the Kymco for the lowest price, or the Yamaha for the next step up our list.

02 Is the Yamaha quad the same as the Raptor 700?

No. The booking form lists them as two separate packages. The Raptor 700 is named as a manual 700 CC quad and costs AED 795 for an hour or AED 1,550 for two, with no shorter session. The Yamaha has its own rates and also offers a 30 Min Ride.

03 Is the Yamaha quad manual or automatic?

The booking form does not say how the Yamaha shifts, so we will not guess. The only quad whose name tells you it is a manual is the Raptor 700. If the gearbox matters to you, for example because you have never used manual gears, message us and we will check it for you.

04 Is two hours on the Yamaha worth it?

If you already know you enjoy quads, yes on price. Two hours cost AED 950, which is AED 150 less than two separate one hour rides. It also means one briefing and one trip to Al Badayer instead of two. If it is your first time, the 30 Min Ride at AED 450 is a gentler start.

05 Where can I read more answers before booking?

Our FAQ page covers booking, payment, timing and what to expect on the day. In short: pick the ride and a start time, tick a transfer if you need it, pay by card, and both the confirmation and the meeting point reach you by email.
